Hello! I’m Chi-Ping! 👋
I am a UX designer specializing in crafting streamlined digital experiences at scale. Within the realms of life science, biotech, and healthcare, I focus on solving intricate problems to significantly improve people's lives.
Currently, with Sartorius in Boston, where I play a key role in digital innovation projects within the SAFe framework as an enabler. My focus extends to developing design systems and refining user research protocols.
Previously, with Commonwealth Care Alliance focused on provider and member experience, intranet, and future customer outreach. A notable achievement was having our intranet design recognized as one of the 10 Best Intranets of 2021 by NN/g.
I studied at Arizona State University where I gained expertise in how people and machines connect and interact, and completed a Master's Degree in Human System Engineering in 2019. During my studies, I was honored with the Best Student Paper Award by HFES 2019.
When I am not working, you will find me mentoring young professionals. I am always up for great conversation and a good cup of coffee; if you’re interested in hearing more about my experience, let’s talk!

“I was particularly impressed by Chi-Ping’s impeccable ability to apply design-thinking to his each and every endeavor—he never fails to think about who he is designing for. “…Chi-Ping is the EXACT TYPE OF PERSON YOU WANT IN YOUR CORNER. There is an old saying which asks who one would want by their side when stuck in a foxhole. For those who are unfamiliar with the saying, it means: when confronted with a tough situation having little chance of success, who would you want on your team by your side? In those circumstances you need strong team members to be able to persevere and succeed. That’s exactly the type of person Chi-Ping is.…”
— Matthew Aufiero, Product Owner
